Komodo Island

Komodo Island is an island located in the Nusa Tenggara Islands. Komodo Island is known as a habitat for native animals dragons. The island is also the Komodo National Park which is managed by the Central Government. Komodo Island is located east of Sumbawa Island, separated by the Sape Strait. Administratively, this island including the District of Komodo, West Manggarai regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. Komodo Island is the westernmost tip of Nusa Tenggara Timur province, bordering the province of West Nusa Tenggara.
On the island of Komodo dragons animals live and breed well. Until August 2009, on this island there are about 1,300 dragons. Coupled with the other islands, like the island of Rinca and Gili Mota, their numbers totaled about 2500 tails. There are also about 100 individuals dragons in Wae Wuul Nature Reserve on the mainland island of Flores but not including the Komodo National Park.
Besides the Komodo dragon, the island also store the variety of exotic flora Sepang wood by local people used as medicine and dye clothing, tree nitak or sterculia oblongata in believe are useful as medicines and seeds are tasty and delicious like peas.
Komodo Island is also accepted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, because in the Komodo National Park, along with Rinca, Padar and Gili Motang
In 1910 the Dutch named the island on the south side of East Nusa Tenggara Province is the nickname of Komodo Island. This story begins with Lieutenant Steyn van Hens Broek who tries to prove statements about the presence of Dutch troops large animal resembling a dragon on the island. Steyn then killed a Komodo dragon and bring documentation to the Museum and Botanical Garden in Bogor to be investigated.
In 2009, the Park has been named a finalist of the "New Seven Wonders of Nature" which was announced in 2010 by online voting at www.N7W.com.Pada dated 11 November 2011, the New 7 Wonders has announced the provisional winner and National Parks Komodo entered into the ranks of the winners along with Woods Amazon, Halong bay, Iguazu Falls, Jeju Island, Puerto Princesa Underground River and Table Mountain. Komodo National Park to get the most votes.

Gili Trawangn

Gili Trawangan is the largest of the three small islands or dyke contained in northwest Lombok. Trawangan is also the only dyke which height above sea level is significant. With a length of 3 km and 2 km wide, Trawangan population of about 800 inhabitants. Among the three dyke, Trawangan has facilities for tourists of the most diverse; tavern "Tir Na Nog" claims that Trawangan is the smallest island in the world is his Irish bar. The most densely populated part is east of the island.
Trawangan has the feel of a "party" more than Gili Meno and Gili Air, because many parties all night every night of the show rotated by some public places. Popular activities conducted in Trawangan is scuba diving (with PADI certified), snorkeling (on the northeast coast), kayaking, and surfing. There are also several places for tourists to learn to ride around the island.
On Gili Trawangan (as well as in two other dyke), there are no motorized vehicles, because it is not permitted by local regulations. Common means of transportation are bicycles (rented by local people for the tourists) and cidomo, simple horse-drawn carriage which are common in Lombok. To travel to and from the third dyke, people usually use motorized boats and speedboats.
Excess of Gili Trawangan compared to other beaches is that we can enjoy the sunset and sunrise at the same time on this beach! This happens because of Gili Trawangan has a beach facing east and overlooking the west, and the distance is not too far away. So that both sunrise and sunset can we enjoy at this beach.

Gili Trawangan also we can see the traditional martial art called Presean or stick fighting art market usually shown around Gili Trawangan. The most favorite activities of the tourists in this Gili namely Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, kayaking, and surfing.

The island was once used as a dumping ground ever convict. At that time because all the prisons were full, a king who was ruling throwing 350 people rebel Sasak to this island. Only around 1970 the island was used as a stopover on the Bugis from Sulawesi, who later settled here with residents hereditary Sasak and Balinese.

Keraton Cliff (Bandung, West Java)

The cliff Kraton is a rock  that is in the area of Forest Park Ir. H. Juanda. the cliff  Keraton located in Kampung Ciharegem  Puncak, Ciburial village, Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. From the cliff Keraton can enjoy the spectacular view. Instead of the lights of the city, but the forest!

Not difficult to reach the cliff Keraton. From the center of Bandung,  go to Dago Pakar, then the direction of Taman Hutan Raya Ir. H. Juanda. Once the gate of Taman Hutan Raya Ir. H. Juanda, turn right. You will pass the big houses and then the township. After that you will arrive at a stall with a large billboard that read 'point Bandrek' alias Warban. To visit the the cliff the palace, there are some things you should prepare. You must set up the camera, a jacket to ward off the cold, drinks and petrol vehicle is fully charged. If you are still unsure how the road to get there, do not be embarrassed to ask. In addition, you are also advised to use a motor, because the roads are impassable not too good.
